bring your students!

Half-day or Full-day visits include a guided exhibit tour and engaging supplemental activities designed to enrich your curriculum. Enhance your experience with a campus scavenger hunt or excursions to additional sites of interest.

Our museum staff review field trip tour requests daily and will be in touch within 3 business days.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The permanent exhibit is geared toward students in the 6th grade or above. A field trip visit includes a tour of the permanent exhibit with a short activity before or after the tour, time to reflect, and an evaluation.

COST PER PERSON

The cost for a field trip is $10.00 per person. This price will include students, teachers, and chaperones.

TOUR TIME OF DAY

If your group has additional time, there is a scavenger hunt that guides you through the USC campus.

  • Morning field trips: Begin at 9:00 am and finish by 11:00am.

  • Afternoon field trips: Start at 12:00pm and end by 2:00pm.

We recognize that schools have different travel needs, and these times are flexible. Please let us know your specific travel needs, if any.

TOUR LENGTH

Our permanent exhibit tour is approx. 70 minutes per tour group, depending on student questions and engagement. Due to space, each tour group is limited to 18 people.

TOUR CAPACITY

For groups over 18 people, we ask that you split into smaller tour groups before arrival so we can stagger entry times.

Groups of 45 to 50 people (including students and chaperones) fit well into a morning or afternoon schedule.

If your group exceeds 50 people, please plan for a full-day visit.

lunch options

If you need space to eat lunch on campus, there are several outdoor locations that work well, including a garden area behind the Anne Frank Center. If it is rainy, students can spread out in the building.

If students bring their own lunches, be sure to bring coolers as there is not a larger refrigerator in the Anne Frank Center.

Your group can also arrange to have food delivered to campus from one of the many nearby restaurants.
